Support of the People of

2:00 pm. Program about 1:00 Where: Under the two big banyan trees
just north of the St Petersburg Museum of Art
(about 335 Beach Drive). What: Literature: petitions to
sign; statements and literature from various
groups; internet references; window signs and
stickers. Discussion and
brainstorming about how we can best help the
people of Burma. Chanting of the Metta
(Lovingkindness) Sutta in Pali and English -- 1:00
pm. Not confrontational;
not partisan political; just supporting the
Burmese people and offering hope that a good
resolution can be found. Trying to be in same spirit as
the initial protests in Burma: "Love and kindness must win
over everything." Who: Anyone with an interest in
helping. If possible, wear red or
maroon clothes in support of the Burmese
monks.
