Saturday October 6, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Program about 1:00

Under the two big banyan trees just north of the St Petersburg Museum of Art (about 335 Beach Drive).

Literature: petitions to sign; statements and literature from various groups; internet references; window signs and stickers.

Discussion and brainstorming about how we can best help the people of Burma.

Chanting of the Metta (Lovingkindness) Sutta in Pali and English -- 1:00 pm.

Not confrontational; not partisan political; just supporting the Burmese people and offering hope that a good resolution can be found.

Trying to be in same spirit as the initial protests in Burma:

"Love and kindness must win over everything."

Anyone with an interest in helping.

If possible, wear red or maroon clothes in support of the Burmese monks.
